Pilot Custom Heritage 92 is a member of the classic Pilot Custom range of fine writing instruments. It employs a simple and effective piston filler system. The transparent barrel reveals the mechanism of the piston, notably the coil and the black stopper which seals in the ink in a completely airtight manner.

The engraved nib is 14-carat gold, rhodium-plated. Clip and barrel ring are polished, chrome-plated. The ring bears the inscription 'Custom Heritage 92' and 'Pilot Japan'. The cap screws on with a quick double-threaded action.
